Nomad Equipment Paracord 550 MIL-C-5040H Type III black

Our own high-quality paracord is manufactured for the Nomad Equipment Brand in Hungary, according to the Military Specification C-5040H (MIL-C-5040H Type III) standard.
Paracord 550 is a parachute cord developed for the American army in World War II.
It has since become a popular survival and hiking tool in addition to military use.
Paracord 550 is a light plastic cord consisting of a multi-strand inner core and an outer sheath.
The cover and inner fibers can be easily separated and can be used independently from each other.
The braided sheath consists of 32 fibers, forming a smooth and tight coating around the seed.
The core and the sheath of the cord can be easily separated from each other.
The inner core of paracord 550 consists of 7 strands, which can also be broken down into 3 smaller strands, which can be broken down into further elementary strands.
This is called paracord yarn.
The thin fibers are suitable for facilitating any survival situation.
It can be suitable for fishing, hunting, but also can be used as a thread to repair or transform our clothes and equipment.

In a survival situation, we can even owe our lives to a few meters of paracord.
The core of the cord is a braid made of nylon fibers, and thanks to its complexity, it has a high load capacity compared to the cross section of the rope.
Paracord takes the tensile load not only in its core or sheath, but also in its entire cross-section.
Thanks to the plastic material, the rope dries quickly, does not retain moisture, is easy to clean and resistant to environmental and mechanical effects.
UV resistant, does not rot or become fungal.
MIL-C-5040H Type III paracord 550 cord must have a tensile strength of at least 550 pounds (approx. 250 kg).
